New Year's is one of those holidays that is really special to me... and not because of the mass amounts of drinking and partying and fireworks... but the whole "new year" thing really gets me excited and super motivated. I love the thought of starting over fresh and making new goals and resolutions. I think I've made resolutions every year since I was like 10. Nerdy, I know.
Even if I don't go out, I like to imagine what I could wear or how I could do my hair and makeup. One NYE, I was on a band trip.. Phoenix, I think... and I bought this sequined, pleated, gauzy black skirt from Express and I knew my mom thought I was nuts. It was like $120, but I had to have it. I still have it, but I don't think I've worn it since that night. Maybe I'll whip it out this year. :)
