If I get one thing...
on my wedding day, it will be a Cheese wedding cake. It looks like an amazing idea for cocktail hour. (Of course there will be real cake too).
I may need one sooner than later. Perhaps for cocktail hour at Thanksgiving!

Park to Park
I may be crazy, but I have decided to do one more race before I leave on my Hawaiian adventure. It's the day before I fly away so hopefully this will mean I'll be in super awesome shape for the beach while also very ready for a relaxing vacation!
It's a 10 mile run that goes through City Park, Cheesman Park, and Wash Park. I think it will be rather scenic. And I've convinced the sister to do it with me. We did 13.1 miles so I'm sure we can manage 10. Although I need new running shoes asap since apparently I'm getting shin splints. Lovely. I suppose this is why some people say running is not so good for the body...
Art for my walls
I really need to get some wall art one of these days. But our walls are concrete so I guess that's why we haven't been able to put anything up. I rather enjoy this artichoke print. How pretty for your kitchen.
From Etsy
Bling
Someone has been shopping around for diamonds lately and took me along last weekend. I found my favorite. Perhaps someday I'll be wearing it. I'd be the luckiest girl of all time!
It's Tiffany.

High & Mighty
I love big hair. I think I was meant to live in another time. But I could always bring it back myself! Refinery says big hair is a fall trend. Lucky me because I already have this Elnett Satin hairspray. Btw, this is like the best hairspray in the world and totally worth the $14 price tag.

Wallpaper Love
Sweet flower wallpaper found via A Cup of Jo. I can't wait for the day that I own my walls and can paper them as I please.
Anniversary Sale
If I had any money I would seriously be online shopping at Nordstrom right now. All the fall stuff is seriously discounted.. but of course you have to buy it now.
Style Inspiration
I love, love Julianne Moore. I think I need to get my hair and makeup done like this ASAP.
Also, on my to-do list is to see A Single Man.

Heart
I've seen these Vivienne Westwood shoes out and about on the wedding blogs quite a bit. But I didn't realize they were available in all colors! Sweet.

Sweet Story
I don't know that I believe in destiny or fate... but this story is awesome. You must read it. I got a shiver. It makes me think of my Europe trip when I saw someone I knew from school in Paris. So weird how these things happen.
Story here.

Spanish Wedding Gowns
Is it just me or do they make some really amazing wedding gowns in Spain? I have loved Rosa Clara for a while and just discovered Pronovias because of this girl's pretty dress and garden wedding.
Swoon.

Veggie Delivery
We just started getting our produce delivered by Door to Door Organics. I'm in love. We get 1 small box every other week and it's the greatest. And really pretty affordable considering it feeds us for 2 weeks. We actually saved a lot of $ on our last grocery trip because we didn't get any grocery store produce.
Tonight I'm coming home to:
1 ea. Local Basil 2/3oz.
2 ea. Tomatoes
1 ea. Local Kale bunch
1 ea. Celery
1 ea. Local Leaf Lettuce
1 ea. Carrots bunch
1 ea. Cucumbers
1 ea. Cantaloupe Melon
4 ea. Yellow Peach
1 ea. Strawberries 8.8oz.
1 ea. Blueberries 6oz.
1 ea. Avocados
5 ea. Bananas
1 ea. Local Radishes bunch
Yum!
Mexican Chocolate
These cookies are sooo good. I could eat them all day. I made a double batch Saturday and I doubt if they'll last much longer.
Recipe and photo from Lottie + Doof.
Living Bouquet
I love this idea of using succulents in your bouquet so they will live long after the wedding! I totally want to do this. It's kind of sad how expensive wedding flowers are and they're dead!

Mmmm Cheese
I just discovered that San Fran has a Cheese School! I think this sounds like the perfect activity next time I get to go out there. I think I consider myself a serious cheese enthusiast!
The Cheese School of San Francisco is the only independent institution of its kind in the nation dedicated entirely to helping people maximize their enjoyment and appreciation of cheese. Our cheese education curriculum is designed to satisfy food lovers of all types, from the merely curious, to the serious cheese enthusiast, to the food service professional.

Maxi
I hate that they're called Maxi Dresses... but I think I could use one or two for the summer. (If they go on sale, that is).
I enjoy this one from Long Tall Sally (also don't like that name, but they have surprisingly good quality and good fit and general cuteness for tall girls).
Hi
I took an almost month-long sabbatical from Blog City. No reason really... just general busy-ness and lazy-ness. And lack of internet browsing to find cool things to post about.
I have some exciting news though! I am going to Hawaii in September - as a birthday gift from DB. (Best Birthday gift ever!)
We're staying here.
Ok. So more to come soon.. hopefully. Thanks for reading, Bow. :)

Oxfords
When I was lil one my mom always dressed me in saddle shoes. Menswear oxfords are back - and they're super cool. I would like some to wear with a nice pair of shorts.
These are by Rag & Bone.

Rag & Bone
Ooh Rag & Bone summer collection. Swoon. I desperately wish I could wear sky high wedges and not break my ankle.
Perfect
I have found myself a couple of perfect swimsuits for summer. (Assuming it actually gets warm in Colorado). Now I just need to get myself the beach bod and I'm set.
Fave suit from Diane VonFurstenberg and here it is with some sexy styling a la Beyonce.
I'm also loving this one from ModCloth.

Bright Red
I love how very red this red is. But I think it's just photoshop and wouldn't actually look good on me.. but it's hard to say. Hmmm.
Also I want everything from Bando.
Beach, please
It's so cold in CO in May. I think I'm over it. Can't wait for sister trip to CA.

PS: Yeah. It's snowing here. :(

Fancy Rocks
I want one of these pieces real bad. I'd go for a ring.. or maybe a necklace. Hmmm. The top ring is my fave, but it's sold out.

Pattern City
I've been much busy-er at work.. which is a good thing. But I've been lacking in blog posts. The last thing I want to do is look at a computer screen when I get home... so that's my excuse.

We did it!
I'm still kind of amazed that we ran 13.1 miles. My body is still shocked as well and has been asking for food non stop. Hopefully tomorrow will be better on the calorie intake front.

If I was Shorter
I'd be wearing these this summer. I think I'd be about 6'8" with them on though. Too much?
EDIT: Oh dear. They come in a flat version too. Wishlisted.

Envelopes by Google Maps
This is such a sweet idea. Love it. It's still in the works I hear - via Black*Eiffel.
But there is a website called Map Envelope that prints envelopes lined with your selected location. Awesome alternative to the cheesy vacation postcard.
Outdoor Space
I was just telling DB about how much I miss having some sort of patio for those warm summer nights. I would totally get some bulb lights like these and have an outdoor feast if I could.

Another Half
I am starting to like this running thing. Finally - after 14 weeks of training. I'm thinking this Slacker Half Marathon looks like a good time. And it'll keep me going through the summer.
