Workin Out

Today I am seriously sore and completely distracted. It's hard to think about work when the thought of walking to the printer makes my quads hurt. But still, I always go back for more! Soreness is a good thing, right?!

And now, I'd like to get on my soapbox for a minute. I think everyone should get a Body Bugg It's so fascinating (to me, at least) to see how many calories you burn doing everyday activities. Plus if you don't want to change your diet at all or don't want to exercise more, you just need to watch your counter to make sure you burn at least 500 more calories a day than you eat. That said, you have to burn 3,500 calories to lose a pound. So a 500 calorie deficit per day means you'll lose 1 pound a week. It's so simple! Not easy though.

Speaking of working out, I think I really need a new gym bag. Mine smells. And it's a hand-me-down from my mother. I'm thinking this one will be added to my fall/winter wish list.

Off I go to burn some more calories!
