I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Miss Martha Stewart. This time of year is when she pops up with her delicious recipes and her awesome crafts. LOVE the recipes I've made... but loathe the hours spent in the kitchen. This year I plan to be better prepared for the holidays, mostly Thanksgiving, since I'm hosting. 11 people. In my small apartment. I think it will be fabulous.
Today while I'm supposed to be working I've decided the menu, divvy'ed up the tasks, and I'm currently planning the table decor.
Meanwhile, I decided I should really start a blog... since I love Blogs and I think I've come across some pretty awesome stuff in the last few months. I thought I should share. :)
My first crafty project of the season will be these lovely painted gourds
Thank God for the Amish. They have a website with cleaned, dried gourds for sale. Cause who has time to wait around for the gourds to dry?!
I need a jigsaw too... I may need to get some crafty friends ASAP.
