Events

One of my favorite things is hosting and planning parties and dinners and holidays. I think I may have to make this hobby into a career... more on that later... but for now I'm just doing some research. I want to plan for someone that has a big budget and can rent sweet furniture like these pieces above.

Aussies

These illustrations for wedding invites are so cute. They make me happy. And I love how Aussies say "up the duff" for pregnant. (This lady was pregnant on her wedding day). Oh and anything with owls is right up my alley.

Today is one of those days... I have no energy and I'm not feeling quite like myself. I need some motivation and a life-changing plan. I think a nap would help too.

A Spending Hiatus?

I've noticed a few bloggers have been embarking on spending hiatuses for the new year. I think it's very admirable, but I'm not sure if I could do it! Where do you draw the line?

This girl is not spending for a year. And this book is about not shopping. Maybe I should buy it. But then I'd be spending! Oh and there's even a group for this not spending thing called The Compact.

This is a nice idea though. Maybe I'll try it, even if just for a month or two. I did say I wanted to be more frugal in 2010.

Vampy

Ok so I'm not really down with the vampire trend these days... haven't read or watched any of the Twilight etc stuff. But I do kind of like these rings. Not sure if I would wear one (cause there's many other things that I like better), but some people (aka sister?) could pull them off. Thoughts?
